Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year with all of our family. Raynee really enjoyed it this year with Santa coming and putting out cookies and Reindeer food! We are all ready to get back to a normal routine, it's been hard on Raynee (she loves school and seeing her friends). We look forward to the new year and all that it may bring. see you in 2011.................

Happy Birthday Reese!

A look at the past year...

Happy Birthday Reese We LOVE YOU !!!

It's Chirstmas time again...

Ok, so this is only the second time our tree has been up in 6 years of marriage.....

I have lots of excuses.... dog... baby.... moved....baby...moved...baby.....

So we finally have a tree up with lights and that's about it, no ornaments because as of now the kids aren't even bothering the tree. We do have stockings that hang on the fireplace at night (during the day Rylan pulls them down) and we have a wreath on the door. So I say that's good enough for this year ( hey it's better than previous years). Who says you need all that fancy stuff to have a GREAT Christmas anyway???

Warm, Sunny, Sundays

We took full advantage of the warm, sunny weather we had last weekend and spent the afternoon at the park.

I also was attempting to get all 3 together for a picture.. maybe for Christmas cards this year.. but as usual no one was cooperating... I did however get some good ones by themselves!

Love this one minus the laundry basket in the back

Who knows on the whole Christmas cards I'm never that prepared for Christmas. And besides I'm more of a email greeting the week before Christmas girl anyway!

11 months

My oh my how time flies... next month my baby will be a year old... She's already growing up too fast! She's walking, saying words, even playing keep away from her brother. I'm trying to cherish every minute with her knowing she's the last baby, even if that means she sleeps in our bed every night! I'm soaking in every minute and loving it!

Halloween Fun

We had a week long celebration of Halloween. First up Raynee's first ever field trip to the pumpkin patch, kid space park and pizza for lunch. Rylan had his first ever Halloween party at MDO. Raynee's Halloween party at school was complete with a costume parade in the gym. Trick or Treating in the neighborhood and Trunk or Treating at the church. Finishing of the week Trunk or Treating at Rylan's MDO/church with carnival games, hot dogs, and Rylan's favorite a live band! We had a busy but very exciting Halloween week, I'm sure it will only get busier in the years to come.

BOO ON BELL STREET!

Well this years boo on bell was a disappointment from last year. The weather was terrible... dreary rain all day! We decided to get out anyway and brave the weather. No parade, No games, NO bounce house... we did however get lots of candy that we'll probably end up selling to Dr. Ellis so she can send it over to the troops. I'm hoping the weather will be better this Saturday for Trunk or Treat at Rylan's school and our church.

Children's Museum

We had a great time at the Children's Museum in Seminole. I had to recruit my mom to go with us and help out. Big shout out to Mia for braving the trip. I don't know who was more tired the kids or us adults! Overall a great trip and Raynee's already planning the next one.

:(

This picture says it all...........

Happy Birthday Rylan

The BIG little 2! My oh my how time flies by when your chasing a 2 year old. He is a busy bee flying all over the place from one thing to the next. He has the most mischievous laugh and the kindest heart. He loves his sisters and loves to make them scream. He gives the biggest hugs and doesn't meet a stranger. The mother's day out calls him their greater.. he says hi and bye to everyone that comes through the door. He loves his mommy as any boy should but loves to wrestle and "fight" with his daddy. When he bats off the tee he switches from left hand to right. At the end of the day I'm completely worn out by just being in his presence, but it makes it all worth it when we read our Goodnight Moon and Bad Dog Marley books and he asks me to rock and sing "you are my sunshine" before bed. What can I say one smile and look from this little guy and it melts my heart.

Oh and by the way he's still pretty little weighing in at a whopping 22 lbs. Happy Birthday Little Man!!

Big Brother

I look into your face big brother,
I wonder what we’ll do,
When I am big enough to stand,
And one day play with you.
I look into your face big brother,
and give a great big smile,
I love it when you spend time with me
And play with me awhile.
I look into your face big brother,
I’m watching all you do ,
I cannot wait until I grow up
And be a big kid just like you.

First Try at the Pumpkin Patch

We had our first attempt at the pumpkin patch.... unsuccessful.... Reese was tired and wouldn't smile for me. Raynee was being moody and not listening to me. Rylan was being is usual self and running all over the place laughing and not sitting still for a decent picture. So here are a few pictures of our first trip. We will definitely go back because I'm determined to get a good picture of all three. We did however walk away with 6 small pumpkins and paid for 2 more that Rylan busted when he insisted they were balls and kept throwing them.

10 months and counting..

WOW I can't believe our little baby is 10 months already. It seems like yesterday when we brought her home. She is growing up too fast. She watches her older brother and sister and wants to do everything they do. She's taking a few steps here and there and jumps and the opportunity to take anything away from her older brother (toys, cups, food). In just a short time she'll be running all over the house chasing Rylan and Raynee. I'm savoring these last two months with our sweet baby girl.

9 months.

Stats

17 lbs 12 oz.
27 in long
2 bottom teeth

25% on the standard growth chart. If every Dr was using the WHO breastfeeding growth chart ( like the CDC recommends) she would be in the 50% for both height and weight! That just goes to show you there are a lot of over weight babies out there. Either way she's perfect in our book.
