School Days

Well today we reached a milestone in every child's life... Our first day of Pre-K. Raynee did great just as I had expected. Last night was a different story... She was so excited she could sleep, she was in our room several times through out the night and was up at 6:30 this morning. I hope she isn't too tired today but at least they still take a rest period in pre-k (Grove's pre-k is an all day program). I'm doing good too, just trying not to think about it too much otherwise I would be crying. The years just go by so fast, I'm trying to cherish every minute I get.

Last Weekend of Summer

We spent the last weekend of summer catching up on housework and swimming. Raynee has "meet the teacher" night on Tuesday along with dance starting back, first day of Pre-K on Wednesday,  and Joey and I leave for Chicago on Thursday. WHEW. One busy week for us.

He's not afraid of anything if you turn your back even for one second he's in the water

If you look closely we have one tooth and we're working on the other!

A New Stage In Life

As of September 3rd I will be a stay-at-home mommy. This is new to us however being a nurse, even full time, is only 3 days/week. I'm not sure how long it will last but the good thing about the nursing profession is if I did want to go back to work for example I can work one day a month (make a little money and keep my skills up). There are so many options with nursing.  We'll see how long I last having 3 kids at home! I'm excited to embark on this new journey. I'm sure everyday will be challenging yet rewarding for all of us!
